Rebranding

I tried the cookies and cream Twix, and I liked it better than the Oreo version. I noticed there were more brand crossover cereals, such as Twinkies, Drumstick ice cream, and Hershey Kisses, but I’m not interested in trying any of them. I did get the mint chocolate Twinkies for the holidays, which are very good, but they also just made me want to get regular Twinkies, so I did. We’ll see what Brad thinks. Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup Lay’s chips are rarely seen, but I did manage to find some, and they were pretty good.

I saw a video that was a camera mod of Radiant Garden from KH3. It pretty much proves it was not meant to be playable, but the modder did add commands like “The gate is closed. You’ll have to find another way around” and such. I don’t think I noticed this before, but there is one door that has a smaller door within it. The only other time I’ve seen that is at Chiyo-chan’s house in Azumanga Daioh. Looks like that’s how Ienzo kept getting out of the castle in Birth By Sleep, though if I had to guess, I’d say that Ansem got more use out of it as a child. I can’t tell if there was an ocean around the outskirts of the world (since that did seem to be the horizon) or just the negative space in the programming. It would make sense for all the worlds to be connected by ocean. That new book coming out in Japan with the character files has me intrigued as well. If Xigbar’s entry is any indication, it was done in a sort of interview style with the characters addressing the reader with whatever they want to say. But that’s up to Nomura or whoever writes for the characters how much information they want to reveal. They could provide some interesting insights or say a whole lot of nothing. Looking forward to more translations or perhaps an official release in the west.

I fixed and re-uploaded the comic dub videos and the stingers videos that I’d decided to take down. I took out the “Cat’s in the Cradle” stinger and re-uploaded “Tea and Trepak.” I changed the music and title of “Let’s Count to XIII” (definitely not a video for kids but YouTube bots are dumb), though my first attempt still got flagged even though I used a background track from my Windows 10 software. I tried uploading to my Facebook page, but the copyright claims muted them there too. I had gotten rid of my Dailymotion account a long time ago, but now I can’t even get that website to load, and that’s where I watch Blockbuster Buster. I also have to remake some of my brother’s videos since he decided he wanted to take all of them down but then forgot that he’d lost some of the original files when his old computer died. So that’s gonna be some work. I’m also trying to come up with a couple new music video ideas concerning RWBY and Kingdom Hearts or redoing old videos.

That Plan Sucked

I’ve deleted all of my videos with copyright claims just in case they got targeted, since demonetization for them would mean copyright strikes for me. I will have to rework some of them, particularly two of the comic dubs, in which the music wasn’t the whole point. If it was the whole point, then there’s not much I can do with those videos. I will have to shift my focus to comedy (more non-musical stingers, which no one watched) and try to find non-copyrighted music to build videos around (but what isn’t copyrighted these days?). There were even claims put on videos after the fact without me being notified (usually they get tagged at upload).

I finally got around to reading Clear Card vol 6. Syaoran took the cards, which willingly went with him, and Yue and Kero are okay with it. Kaito is waiting for Sakura to create a certain card, which may be a while if she’s basically recreating the cards that were taken from her. We get backstory on him and Akiho from Momo, which may or may not be legit. Kaito was the most powerful child sorcerer of all time and was taken in by the group that he’d recently left. Akiho was apparently a squib who was neglected by her family’s clan. Her parents exist but died when she was a baby (so no trying for a second magical child). However, she’s also the treasure that Kaito stole from them, not the book he’s trying to unlock with Sakura’s magic. Speaking of that, Fujitaka’s library seems to be a powerful place that Kaito doesn’t want Akiho to enter. He turns back time to prevent her from getting her true memories back (she doesn’t remember her magical roots, just that her parents were never home and books were her only friends) and seems to have sealed some of Sakura’s magic as well, since Yukito and Kero fell asleep. I still don’t get him. Kaito’s plan sucks.

Weiss is getting criticized (mostly by her mom, maybe by the fans) for leaving her brother behind. She absolutely should’ve left him behind, and here’s why: Whitley isn’t a huntsman. Weiss almost died, and had he been with her, Whitley would definitely have died or at least been mentally scarred by everything that happened between Weiss’ plane crash and getting kidnapped by Yang’s mom to Weiss getting stabbed by Cinder to the train crash to the Apathy Grimm and then finally making it back to Atlas. The truth is that Willow needs to be a better mom and should not force those responsibilities onto her daughters. Even in my family, the women know to leave a bad situation at least temporarily and to at least bring the youngest with them. What was Whitley doing while Weiss was at Beacon? She was gone then, though it was under different circumstances.

I liked episode 5 of Harley Quinn "Being Harley Quinn" where they go inside her mind. It made me think about Raven’s episode “Nevermore.” Ivy has really good hair too. Wayne Knight as Penguin was pretty great, and of course Diedrich Bader returning as Batman. I don’t like what they did to Jim Gordon, and wasn’t his wife’s name Sara (she’s dead, but still)? I don’t think they would’ve screwed up Barbara being his daughter, but somehow they did. Damian is more annoying than ever and is voiced by an actual child, which shouldn't be a problem but it sounds really jarring. Batman Ninja didn't get his character right either, but at least he was pleasant.
