To be fair, the theme song for RWBY volume 3 did tell us exactly what we were in for, no joke. One thing that still bothers me is Velvet, particularly the way she was introduced. In volume 2 she is older than the main cast, but in volume 1 she was in the same class as them and was getting bullied by Team Cardinal. Her team should have (and would have) come to her rescue, even though she was just the set-up for Blake's reveal later (which came as no surprise to anyone watching). Speaking of volumes 1 and 2, if they were like the first two Harry Potter books, then volume 3 skips right to Half-Blood Prince in terms of how dark it got. Also, I just realized how RWBY is like Halo, thanks to Cortana being the narrator/big bad now (since almost everything in volume 3 came right the fuck out of nowhere). The Huntsmen and Huntresses are the Spartans, the White Fang is the Covenant (sort of), and the Grimm are the Flood.
I'm actually really enjoying Dino Supercharge despite the stupid name. The last thing I expected was the guy who played Colonel Truman in RPM coming back to play Shelby's dad. It's too bad they have a limited number of episodes, since Hekyll didn't stay on their good side long enough. If they had stretched it out more, though, he might have started to grow a conscience, and that wasn't going to happen. The actors continue to do a great job and really seem to be enjoying themselves in their roles as always.
