Since the Grilled Dogs are made of 100% beef, I decided they weren't a threat to my health and got one slathered with ketchup and mustard. It wasn't that special, but it wasn't bad either. There are two new flavors of Pop-Tarts. I opted for the fruit flavor, thinking that watermelon was safe. It's disgusting. The chocolate caramel probably wouldn't be good for me since s'mores always made me sick. I remember sitting in the living room with my family eating bad pizza and cinna-sticks (Domino's) and arguably bad movies (TMNT II Secret of the Ooze, Inspector Gadget 2, Scooby-Doo and the Reluctant Werewolf).
I drew a picture of Ruby hugging one of those soda machines featured in a Rooster Teeth Animated Adventure. Weiss is in the background rolling her eyes. Blake and Yang are probably getting sandwiches or something. I'm currently enjoying the Japanese dub of volume 1. It's so cool. As with going back to the beginning of anything, I have a greater hatred for Cinder in the first episode. It also made me wonder what she was doing flying the helicopter when it's usually Neo doing the driving (and the fact that Neo seemed to have a relationship with Torchwick). Weiss' relationship with her sister is also inconsistent. On the one hand, she said she'd always wanted to have bunk beds to share with her in volume 1 and greeted her with excitement when she arrived at Beacon in volume 3. On the other hand, she didn't want to talk to her in volume 2.

Amazing!
I'm watching The Amazing Race this season for Burnie and Ashley. There aren't episode recaps for Survivor anymore, so I have to watch it too. I guess I don't mind as much since there is a bounty hunter named Kyle Jason who also happens to be a perfect fusion of my friends Kyle and Jason. Move over, Lirran. Speaking of my friends, we've been playing the new Digimon game together and having a lot of fun. We each chose three Digimon - mine are Lopmon, Gatomon, and Sorcerimon (Jason chose Wizardmon). It feels just like a Persona game, and the graphics are amazing. It's an awesome game for winners.
I found out Ninja Turtles Next Mutation was put out on DVD a couple years ago, so I'm going to get that for my birthday. The only negative feedback I could find was a lack of features (no haters on Amazon, apparently). I don't mind. It's not like Batman and Robin where they actually apologized for making it; they just want to forget it ever happened and move on. Batman and Robin was the Easter Egg I mentioned before - a movie billboard over the NYPD. Just add that level of camp to the special effects of Dinosaurs and you get Next Mutation. I've finished all the Organization horoscope videos (they're really short!) and the stinger to the Everything Wrong With East Meets West video. The rest will take some work, especially if I have to work around copyright to get what I want (getting the DVDs will help).
There was a video opening/closing that I remember from my childhood. I looked it up and it's actually on youtube. The video series was called Children's Circle, and it featured a van with drama masks painted on it (more like circular emoji form before emojis were a thing) driving through a neighborhood. The lyrics I remember are "Come on along, come on along, join the caravan." In hindsight, a van driving through a neighborhood and beckoning little kids to listen to a story probably isn't the most appropriate image to present.

Furthermore
To be fair, the theme song for RWBY volume 3 did tell us exactly what we were in for, no joke. One thing that still bothers me is Velvet, particularly the way she was introduced. In volume 2 she is older than the main cast, but in volume 1 she was in the same class as them and was getting bullied by Team Cardinal. Her team should have (and would have) come to her rescue, even though she was just the set-up for Blake's reveal later (which came as no surprise to anyone watching). Speaking of volumes 1 and 2, if they were like the first two Harry Potter books, then volume 3 skips right to Half-Blood Prince in terms of how dark it got. Also, I just realized how RWBY is like Halo, thanks to Cortana being the narrator/big bad now (since almost everything in volume 3 came right the fuck out of nowhere). The Huntsmen and Huntresses are the Spartans, the White Fang is the Covenant (sort of), and the Grimm are the Flood.
I'm actually really enjoying Dino Supercharge despite the stupid name. The last thing I expected was the guy who played Colonel Truman in RPM coming back to play Shelby's dad. It's too bad they have a limited number of episodes, since Hekyll didn't stay on their good side long enough. If they had stretched it out more, though, he might have started to grow a conscience, and that wasn't going to happen. The actors continue to do a great job and really seem to be enjoying themselves in their roles as always.

Endorsement
I had a weird Power Rangers dream. There were five Rangers, and they were powered by Gatorade. Anyone could be any color, of which there were red, orange, yellow, green, and blue. They could only summon their powers either by drinking it or pouring it over their heads. It may even have been Powerade for all I know, if they were going to be literal with it. Then I also had a dream where I had to mix different drinks for the characters from Final Fantasy Type 0. I don't remember much of it except talking to Nine and making a spicy red drink for Queen. Then I got an idea to draw Lexaeus as a minotaur and Xaldin as a centaur. I won't actually do that though because I'm not good at drawing, especially animals or animal crossbreeds.
Cinnamon Oreos are the best. I don't like the idea of Lay's swapping out flavors, though. Gouda and chives is good, but I wouldn't vote for it to replace cheddar and sour cream. Same thing with Korean Barbecue; it's nice, but I'd rather have honey barbecue. I couldn't care less about the other two match-ups, but my boyfriend says he'd rather have habenero and olive oil and herbs. Pringles has a hot dog flavor I've only seen at Walgreen's. I don't know how I feel about that, as they were all buried at the bottom of the display underneath stacks of original and sour cream and onion. I'd rather just eat a hot dog if they weren't so bad for my heart, which is too bad since Burger King just started serving hot dogs. Urgh.
I wonder if RWBY volume 3 was always supposed to be that dark, what with characters getting killed and limbs being severed and all. It took way too sharp of a turn, in my opinion. Yang is done, which is understandable. Blake running away again is also understandable since she feels responsible for what happened to Yang, but running away only made things worse between them. Penny can probably be rebuilt eventually (though she wouldn't be Penny), but other people are definitely gone. We didn't even see Goodwitch's face when she was trying to fix a broken building only to have it fall apart again; she must have been in agony. I don't hold out much hope for Ozpin being missing and not dead. We saw what Cinder did to Phyrra. It was a nice surprise to hear Burnie voicing Tai, and just as surprising when Qrow seemed to turn into an actual crow when he was following Ruby and the rest of JNPR at the end.

Thanks, Facebook!
February 8 is Chinese New Year. It's the Year of the Monkey. Here are Ritsu pictures. http://s62.photobucket.com/user/ShadowGalactica/media/Ritsu_zpsqyqzvv24.jpg.html

Thanks to Facebook, I was reminded that the game show I was trying to think of a long time ago was called Get the Picture. It was on a list of obscure Nickelodeon shows. I knew almost all of them. Those were some good times.
RWBY and Critical Role have both gotten very dark. Some very well-timed nat-1s saved the campaign from being worse (when Scanlan's daughter wanted to kill him and when Grog wanted to free the litch). It's cool that Laura and Travis cameoed in RWBY as well, since they met RoosterTeeth at a Halo convention. I liked watching them try to play the Starwhal game too. It's funny when Laura doesn't do well and starts swearing. I even did some Critical Role fan art. I drew the group in bunches watching in horror as the ancient dragons arrived. I know better than to scan it and send it in, though. As for a campaign I play, we have been reunited with an NPC we thought betrayed us. Next time, we have to try to save her from some goblorcs - half-goblin half-orcs.
Freddles - They're like Squiddles, but terrifying.

Slow Your Roll
2016 has wasted no time in killing people. I was completely blown away by the news, even though dead celebrities (as well as dead people in general) have become somewhat of the norm, especially at this time of year or over the summer. Maybe this will be the year I can change jobs, but I doubt it. I still like helping people, but some people and conditions make it very trying indeed. D&D has started off kinda slow this year, and on my end it keeps getting cancelled. When it's not cancelled, I'm tired from work. It's also come to the point where I feel that other people are controlling my character or at least the terms of the situation we're in.
I've finished preliminary voice recordings for my CinemaSins parody and am almost ready to put the whole thing together. Once I get every point in the right order and gather the appropriate audio and video (well, caps), it'll come together as soon as it can. As I pointed out last time, the process has been very affirming. I'm even going to put out videos about the Egyptian zodiac. The voice recordings for that are also complete. All that's left is to edit them together. Those will be easier and quicker to produce, so I'll be working on them at the same time as the CinemaSins video in increments.

Nostalgia Reaffirmed
I finished sinning the last two episodes of East Meets West. However, thanks to youtube copyright issues with random parts, I had to go to a different site to get footage, so the aspect ratio will be inconsistent when I make the video. It'll take a long time to record, and I don't know if I can find all the bits of audio I want to use for the end part. It'll be difficult enough just recording the audio from the show, as well as taking a while to record my readings. Rewatching these episodes made me appreciate the show more rather than tear it down. It was by no means perfect and not the best incarnation of the four canon Turtles, but Splinter was portrayed as a concerned parent (especially where Raph was concerned), and Venus is still an inspiration to me. I'd never want to go back to that part of my life, but this show was a big part of it. It gave me solace. Nothing is going to take that away from me. I wouldn't even call it a guilty pleasure because you can't make me feel guilty about it anymore. Watching it again, I feel like I'm home.
After listening to Razzbowski read the first four chapters of the Five Nights at Freddy's Book "The Silver Eyes," I have to admit that I stopped caring after the first chapter and only kept listening because he's such a good narrator, as many have pointed out. I just can't get emotionally invested in these characters if this story isn't canon. It'd be one thing if some random person just wrote the story with FNAF as a backdrop, but Scott put this out. He worked with a writer, not the other way around (or so I assume, otherwise he's tricked us again). Scott only allows people to read the first four chapters, and it supposedly picks up and gets good after chapter five, according to Razzbowski. I may decide to give it a look in the future or I may not.
I've been able to sleep, but I've had a lot of weird dreams. One was some random Dragon Ball Z tournament movie with made-up characters that were scraping the bottom of the barrel for design. In my dream last night, our D&D campaign got replacement members since in real life our games keep getting cancelled when people have to drop out at the last minute. Those replacement members were none other than Laura, Travis, Sam, and Ashley from Critical Role.
