Top 11 Powerpuff Girls Episodes

Here are my Top 11 (shut up, it just worked out that way) episodes of the original series:

11- All Chalked Up. Pretty much the same as Bubblevicious but this time it’s not entirely her fault. Plus Buttercup has a track record of annoyance with Bubbles' drawing habits, like the coloring song - prompting her to yell "Bus driver, are we there yet?!" - in Mime for a Change

10- Hot Air Buffoon, in which the Mayor takes out his opponents with a giant spring-loaded boxing glove he calls the Equalizer, much to his accomplice Miss Bellum's horror. Better IMO than Too Pooped to Puff in which the townsfolk are too whiny and lazy to take care of their own problems (although the Mayor getting his hand stuck in the pickle jar time and again was funny).

9-The Bare Facts - a.k.a. the Rashomon episode, which is always good.

8-Ice Sore. In this episode we get a heat wave, in which Miss Keane is hilariously apathetic to the children while they’re all suffering under the heat. Blossom discovers she has ice breath and saves the day, which starts to annoy Bubbles and Buttercup after a while.

7-The RowdyRuff Boys. I like that it’s the reverse Smurfette principle. This is the version done right, though the Z version is somewhat close even though it’s still a little wrong.

6-Boogie Frights. It’s the first one I remember seeing, bunch of monsters having a sweet rave party in the middle of town.

5-Mime for a Change. I like this one for the song and aforementioned coloring scene on the bus. There’s also Tom Kenny as the crazy clown (he’s still not as scary as the evil Tim Curry clown though).

4-Super Zeroes. "Better heroes, huh?" Even though their new personae suited them (or at least their personalities), they are better off being who they are and even the monsters know that.

3-Imaginary Friend - Epic imagination showdown FTW!

2-Bubblevicious - a.k.a. Bubbles goes crazy and stuff trying to prove herself, which is still better than Equal Fights with the feminist villain.

1-Telephonies = CRANK CALLS! I love this episode because the Gangrene Gang makes crank calls to the Girls to get all the villains in trouble/beaten to a pulp for no apparent reason, and the villains come back and get their revenge on the guys when they find out (because like idiots they fell asleep in the Mayor’s office instead of hightailing it out of there before anyone could catch on).
